IMPLANTS ARE US is proud to work with Dr. Klaus Lotzkat, a nationally and internationally renowned implantologist. He has been offering live surgery courses and lectures on implantology and laser dentistry in Germany and abroad for over 15 years. He is a specialist for implantology certified by different academies and implant societies.
Being a lecturer gives Dr. Lotzkat the opportunity to meet leaders in this field from all over the world. As he is always expanding his knowledge in implantolgy and laser dentistry, he strives to include the most innovative methods and materials in the treatment plans for his patients: Instead of using autologous bone from other areas of the patient’s body, which requires more surgery, he works with bone substitutes to augment the jaw area for placing implants in most cases. Another innovative method he applies is the PGRF method (platelets rich in growth factors—as developed by Dr. Marx and Dr. Anitua) which uses particles taken from the patient’s own blood to improve healing results, especially in the soft tissue.
He is currently working on: Integration of hardlasers in implantology, the extended use of bone substitutes, immediate loading of different implant systems, and fixed restorations in the edentulous maxilla or mandible.

Since 1992 Dr. Lotzkat has given a great number of implantology and laser dentistry courses for beginners and advanced dentists. He has published numerous articles in both fields.
